WISUI MURA

 

Sustainable Tourism is tourism that follows the principles of sustainability, minimizing the impact on the environment and culture, while contributing to generate income and employment for the local population. These attractions are located within the Wisui community that has an area of ​​4970.50 ha within the Protected Forest "Kutuku Shaimi"; Natural resources such as: Tayuntsa Waterfall, Tayos Cave, Wisui Mura Lookout, were ancestral heritage of the Catani Cardenas family & children. Where you can perform activities such as: fishing, hiking, tubbing, Shuar rituals, photographs, academic and scientific studies of biodiversity, observation of flora and fauna, etc.

The Wsiui Mura viewpoint is 930 meters high. On its journey you can see heliconias, bromeliads, ferns, lichens, orchids. From here you can see the Macuma River, and the exuberant beauty of the Cutucu Mountain Range, it is ideal for photography, and its access is direct, since it is located by a small stop on trips made from the Wisui community to the Wisui Mura viewpoint.
